It's another win for wrestling supporters as KING GEORGE VI WRESTLING CLUB has signed an agreement with Luxembourg-based satellite television station The Super Channel to air a fortnightly wrestling show, 'Out For The Count'. The show will feature one exclusive match in full, plus highlights from unaired matches, along with bonus footage from 'On The Mat'.
SECRETARY CAPTAIN ARTHUR SANDBROOK expressed confidence that the move would allow more fans to enjoy the all-in action that professional wrestling provides.
"With our expanding stable of wrestlers from all over the world and a fan base that is demanding more, it’s a great pleasure to partner with The Super Channel for this groundbreaking show.
"Their innovation and vision to broadcast television through satellites demonstrates their appetite for groundbreaking partnerships. No longer will we be constrained to just three TV channels."
Televised wrestling returns with 'On The Mat IX' on 14 September, with 'On The Mat X' set to be broadcast from The Corn Exchange, Mullingar, County Westmeath, Ireland, on 28 September. Matches will also be filmed for the debut episode of 'Out For The Count.'
'Out For The Count' will be taped prior to the broadcast of 'On The Mat' and broadcast the following day. Readers should contact their satellite providers to enquire on the availability of The Super Channel.
