Ring Warriors to Descend on Stockton-on-Tees

A spectacular lineup of domestic and international wrestling stars is heading to the Stockton Globe, County Durham for the much-anticipated television taping of the beloved show, 'On The Mat'.

Among the stars already confirmed are former World Lightweight Champion JOHNNY FRESNO, and the formidable Irish wrestler EAMON KEANE, who is known for making few friends both at home and abroad.

The evening's entertainment will also feature five overseas wrestlers hailing from Mexico, Japan, and the United States.

"We've got something truly special in store," said KING GEORGE VI WRESTLING CLUB Matchmaker EDMUND LUNTLEY.

"With the World Heavy-Middleweight Championship currently vacant, we’ve secured the rights to host a tournament to crown the new champion in the 214lb rankings."
