Finisher [normal finisher; the move your guy uses in the standard match to wrap things up]: The Sugar Hold (a legendary hold that is older than old school, van Zandt uses this as his finish which, when properly applied, can make an opponent pass out in seconds. Against more formidable/resistant opponents, he will do the step-over version shown at the end of this video; youtu.be/pIA8a8logh4?si=mHSULqaiy2A-xgks)
Brief Bio: Leon Van Zandt hails from Ghent, Belgium, the only son of globally-ranked athletes. His training in amateur wrestling lead to his representing his homeland in Youth Olympics games, while dabbling in related sports like judo, sambo, and others caught the eyes of old-time European grapplers to took him in and helped him perfect his craft, leading him to enter the pro circuit and win many Belgian and European championships.
Having long thought himself the last herald of the efficient, brutal catch wrestling style synonymous with mid-20th century continental Europe, he knows more than one way to snap a limb. That said, though, Leon is known throughout as “The Professional,” and will not harm his opponent any more than necessary to win a match.
