Subject: Match Rules – 28 October 2024, Hastings Pier Theatre, Hastings, East Sussex, England
With the utmost sense of occasion and importance, we now turn our attention to the impending wrestling contest, which shall take place on the 28th of October, in the year of our Lord 2024, at the venerable Hastings Pier Theatre, Hastings, East Sussex. This event, broadcast as part of ‘Out For The Count’ on The Super Channel, stands as one of no small importance. Consequently, it is my duty, on behalf of the esteemed Admiral-Lord Mountevans Committee, to formally confirm the rules and stipulations that shall govern the matches on this most anticipated evening.
It is essential that all competitors, officials, and participants observe the following regulations with the highest regard, as befits the stature of this occasion.
BEAT THE CLOCK KNOCKDOWN MATCH
Participants: Tiger Kidd vs. William Miller Harris
Match Type: Beat The Clock Knockdown Match
Time Limit: 10 Minutes (continuous wrestling, no falls, no submissions, no rounds)
Point System:
A point is scored when a wrestler successfully knocks down or throws their opponent ten times within the time limit.
The match will continue uninterrupted until one wrestler has scored ten points. If no competitor completes this milestone within the 10-minute time limit the match will be declared a draw.
Please ensure strict adherence to these regulations to maintain the integrity of the competition. The referee will adjudicate whether a move is a knockdown or throw and keep count of all knockdowns and throws.. Wrestlers must observe proper sportsmanship in line with the values of this distinguished event.
