Mitzi Bopp: The Enigmatic Wrestling Nurse of Berlin
by Fanny Flügel
In the labyrinthine streets of Berlin, where shadows lengthen and mysteries abound, there exists a figure as curious as any Sherlock Holmes might encounter. Mitzi Bopp, a nurse by day and a wrestling phenomenon by night, defies all conventions. One might think her life a tale too bizarre to be true, but I assure you, it is as real as the unmistakable sound of a body hitting the mat.
Her presence in the hospital wards at Charité is, by all accounts, a study in quiet efficiency. Her patients speak of her gentle touch, her keen eye for the smallest symptom, and an uncanny ability to diagnose ailments with the precision of a seasoned detective. “Healing is much like solving a mystery,” she tells me in her characteristically soft voice. “Each patient presents a puzzle, and it’s my duty to piece it together before the illness takes hold.”
But as night falls and the city’s gas lamps flicker to life, Mitzi steps from the shadows of her hospital rounds into the glaring lights of the wrestling ring. Her transformation is as startling as it is complete. “Ah, wrestling,” she says, a glint of something far more dangerous in her eyes. “It’s not so different from caring for the sick. In both, there is a battle to be won. In the ring, however, my opponent fights back.”
Intriguing, isn’t it, that one so accustomed to nurturing the weak should find equal satisfaction in overpowering the strong? Her opponents, many of whom stand a head taller, often underestimate her. A grave mistake. Mitzi dispatches them with a methodical precision, each hold and counter executed with the clinical efficiency of a master surgeon.
“There is balance in all things,” Mitzi reflects, her gaze distant. “A life saved, a match won. Both require strength. Both require strategy. Both leave a mark.”
In the end, one cannot help but be captivated by this woman of contradictions, whose life straddles the realms of compassion and conflict. Mitzi Bopp, nurse and wrestler, is a puzzle wrapped in muscle and mystery—one that might baffle even the great Sherlock Holmes himself.

ON THE MAT II – Golden Grappler Series
(Taped on Thursday 2 April 2020 at West Ham Baths, London, UK)
[2] Mikolaj Salak (201lbs, Warsaw, Poland) beat Fuji Hirai (207lbs, Tokyo, Japan) in a Heavy-Middleweight match (count out in 8:45, full match shown)
Hirari lit up the ring with some thundering kicks that took Salak down to his knees. The former kick boxer went for an early KO but his kick to the head was blocked by Salak who went for an ankle lock.
Wright informed us that both Heavy-Middleweights would be looking to rise up the ranks following this contest.
Hirari was in control hitting a big belly to belly suplex and running Dropkick which sent Salak flying over the top rope, with the referee set to count Salak out Hirai ran and went for a tope suicida through the ropes but Salak moved and Hirai crashed onto the floor. Salak rolled into the ring and Hirai was unable to enter before the count of ten and the match was over.

You will see the date for The Royal Open ‘24 has been confirmed. This is our first major event since the new cycle started. More details will be announced but it is one of our big three or four annual events each year.
I have decided not to run a female Amatuer Challenge as we simply did not get the interest, but may do so in a few months.
Thank you for all your feedback on shows. I acknowledge that I am not perfect and mistakes will and do happen, hopefully the stories are still enjoyable.
Please keep spreading the word and reach out if you have any questions.

3 - Super Star Of The Week
******************
After each Television show, I'll put together the top three superstars of the week based off matches, angles, flashes, RINGSPORT MAGAZINE submissions.
***
Bulldog Spirit
There’s a new King of the Heavy-Middleweight Division and its Manchester’s own Bulldog Spirit. Not only ahs he become Champion of the World, but it looks like the Mexican hero Metallica Panther II has been put on the shelf.
***
George Thompson / Barry Bridges
Fans are already saying this could be the match of the year and the controversial ending to their match will long live in people’s memory. It’s hard to split the two Heavyweights who will meet in a Triangular Match in the Caribbean with Half-Nelson McGrath in a week’s time with the Commonwealth Heavyweight Title on the line!
***
Gavin Owens
The Heavyweight Division is on fire right now and British Champion Gavin Owens had another impressive display this weekend. While there are many pretenders to the World Heavyweight Champion, any that ventures to the British Isles will no doubt face a test from the London Thrower.
