A joyful welcome from both our hosts in the Studio who give us a run down of tonight’s show. We will see the controversial ending to George Thompson v Barry Bridges from ‘On The Mat XI’, The Black Country Boys taking on Mr Rumble & Black Prince with the International Mannschaftskampf Titles on the line, highlights and reaction from the huge World’s Heavy-Middleweight Championship showdown between Metallica Panther II and Bulldog Spirit, ahead of Johnny Fresno challenging Jack Sherry for the World Lightweight Championship we watch highlights of Fresno taking on Metallica Panther III from four years ago, Kashiwazaki BLOOD are in action plus a huge main event with British Heavyweight Champion Gavin Owens taking on Commonwealth Heavyweight Champion Half-Nelson McGrath.
ON THE MAT X REWIND: George Thompson v Barry Bridges

As Thompson regained his footing, he ducked a clothesline and sent Bridges tumbling to the floor. Bridges retaliated, slamming Thompson into the apron face first. Referee Devonte Hutchinson followed the two men out of the ring and pleaded with them to get back to the ring. Dougie Wright on commentary claimed he thought the match may be judged a No Contest. As Bridges rolled Thompson into the ring, Thompon’s trailing leg caught Hutchinson in the face knocking him down.
In the ring, Thompson struck back with shoulder tackles and a neckbreaker, then launched himself back into the ring with a clothesline, regaining momentum. The two wrestlers exchanged blows, and Thompson hit a forearm that sent Bridges staggering. While Mr. Hutchinson was receiving medical treatment another referee Mr. Robert ‘Bob’ Hackett entered as the official.
Thompson, sensing victory, executed a body slam and then a Buttlerfly Suplex of his own. As he set up for his Top Wrist Lock Submission Bridges managed to recover, countering Thompson’s setup and executed a release German Suplex. Bridges then sent Thompson into the turnbuckle and, with a burst of adrenaline, executed a big back bodydrop. Bridges pulled Thompson up for another German Suplex but Thompson reversed and hit Bridges with a German Suplex.
Mr. Hutchinson re-entered the ring and joined Mr. Hackett in counting the three count.
George Thompson feeling he had emerged victorious raised his hands as Mr. Hackett congratulated him only for Mr Hutchinson to raise the hand of Bridges.
Dougie Wright was most confused on commentary. As an action replay is played which shows Thompson struggling to bridge for the pin. MC Rodney White is in the ring and having discussions with both referees.
Rodney White confirms that Mr. Hutchinson counted Thompson’s shoulders down while Mr. Hackett counted Bridges’ shoulders down. Both referees agreed the match should be ruled a Draw.
[1] The Black Country Boys – Johnny Doyle (245 lbs, Wolverhampton) & Ricky Gallagher (230 lbs, Wolverhampton) beat Mr. Rumble (235 lbs, Atlanta, USA) & The Black Prince (210 lbs, Oxfordshire, UK) to retain the International Mannschaftskampf Titles (Black Country Crush, 14:35, full match shown)
Ricky Gallagher locked up with Mr. Rumble. Gallagher used his roughhouse style to control the early exchanges, landing heavy strikes and delivering a thunderous Roughhouse Slam that stunned the Atlanta native. Mr. Rumble fought back with a crisp arm drag and a series of technical holds, eventually tagging in The Black Prince.
The Black Prince brought his unique high-intensity style, immediately targeting Gallagher’s legs with a Dragon Screw Leg Whip and a sharp Figure Four Leg Lock. Gallagher, grimacing in pain, managed to break the hold and tagged in Johnny Doyle, who wasted no time taking control. Doyle's superior strength was evident as he manhandled The Black Prince, hitting a massive spinning shoulder breaker known as the Doyle's Dislocator.
The Black Prince, ever resilient, countered with an Overhand Chop and a Schmidt Backbreaker, then tagged Mr. Rumble back in. Rumble used his precision wrestling to ground Doyle, attempting his patented Million Dollar Knee Lift. Doyle dodged it and the match escalated into chaos, with both teams brawling across the ring.
After a much needed tag, Gallagher returned to the fray and, alongside Doyle, delivered their devastating double-team moves. Mr. Rumble found himself isolated as Gallagher hit stiff forearm shots, while Doyle tied up The Black Prince in the corner with illegal tactics. The climax came when Doyle lifted Mr. Rumble into a gutwrench position, and Gallagher charged in, completing the Black Country Crush for the victory.
ON THE MAT X REWIND: Metallica Panther II (c) v Bulldog Spirit for the World’s Heavy-Middleweight Championship

Metallica Panther II and Bulldog Spirit exchange fierce chops before Panther lands an Enziguri to the back of Bulldog’s head. Panther climbs to the top rope, leaping off, but Bulldog catches him mid-air with a dropkick. Bulldog tries to capitalize on the momentum, but the referee gets in the way, causing Eddie to lose his temper at ringside. In a moment of frustration, he slaps Bulldog, which only fuels Bulldog’s anger.
As Panther rises to his feet, Bulldog delivers a dropkick, followed by an uppercut and a brutal Brainbuster. Instead of going for the cover, Bulldog attempts a Tornado DDT, but Panther counters with a Dragon Sleeper, locking Bulldog in tightly. Bulldog was able to escape by kneeing Panther in the face. As Panther held his nose in pain Bulldog locked in the Bulldog Bite chickenwing crossface and Panther had no option but to submit.
[2] Ayane Nakamura (126 lbs, Kyoto, Japan) beat King Kyoto (253 lbs, Tokyo, Japan) in a Singles Match (Katana, 6:02, full match shown)
From the opening bell, Kyoto sought to overwhelm Nakamura, charging in with a brutal Running Big Boot that barely missed as Ayane rolled to safety. Nakamura, showcasing her speed and precision, fired back with rapid strikes, targeting Kyoto’s legs to bring the giant down.
Kyoto, unfazed, caught Ayane mid-kick and hoisted her up for a bone-rattling Belly-to-Belly Suplex. The ring shook as Ayane hit the mat hard, and Kyoto immediately followed up with a crushing Camel Clutch, wrenching back on Ayane’s neck. The crowd rallied behind Ayane as she clawed her way to the ropes, forcing a break.
King Kyoto, growing frustrated, unleashed their fury with a Spinning Side Slam that nearly sealed the match, but Ayane kicked out at two. Sensing a need for a swift counter, Ayane dodged a Discus Lariat and retaliated with a pinpoint Dragon Screw, sending Kyoto crashing to the mat.
With momentum on her side, Ayane ascended to the top rope and delivered a stunning Missile Dropkick, staggering the monstrous Kyoto. As King Kyoto tried to shake off the blow and regain control, Ayane struck with a perfectly timed Katana - Claymore Kick, catching Kyoto square in the jaw to win the match.
ON THE MAT X REWIND: Metallica Panther III v Johnny Fresno © for the World Lightweight Championship and Belt

Inside the ring both made the ten count and it was Fresno who was able to score a near fall first with a brain buster, but could not follow up with anything else before Metallica Panther III hit DDT, considered a cover but then hit a second for a near fall.
The fans were really into this match now, with Dougie Wright at the commentary desk saying ‘it has all the emotion of a fight of the decade.’ He was close the action again when Fresno was tossed to ringside but once again made it in for a ten count, Panther went for another DDT but Fresno was able to reverse it with a northern lights suplex.
Both men struggled to get to their fret, more bloody was seeping through Panther’s mask while Fresno was starting to get become a real mess. The two then slugged it out, forearm after forearm, punch after punch, both men were down for one knee for an extended time, before they were back to to their feet. Fresno then threw a big right hand which Panther ducked and hit a head but that rocked Fresno to the mat, his head now fully crimson and his face thick with blood the ringside doctor climbed onto the apron, spoke briefly to the referee before entering the ring and ending the match.
[3] Kashiwazaki BLOOD (Kenji "The Dragon" Nakamura, Hiroshi "The Titan" Suzuki and Akira "Dark Wolf" Tanaka) beat The Tongan Warriors & Baloo in a Non-Title Match (Saito Suplex, 9:23 highlights shown)
Manu Maʻafu and Tevita Maʻafu showcased their power against Kenji "The Dragon" Nakamura. Manu initiated the action with a fierce shoulder block, sending Nakamura staggering back. However, Nakamura quickly recovered, responding with rapid-fire strikes that kept Manu on the defensive.
As Tevita tagged in, he aimed to turn the tide with a flying shoulder tackle, but Hiroshi "The Titan" Suzuki countered with a massive spinebuster that echoed through the arena. Suzuki capitalized with a brutal series of kicks, but Tevita's resilience shone through as he fought back with a spinning heel kick, regaining some momentum for his team.
Baloo made his presence felt with a powerful display of strength, taking down Akira "Dark Wolf" Tanaka with a thunderous slam. The crowd roared in approval as Baloo maintained the upper hand, executing a series of strikes that had Tanaka reeling. However, teamwork proved key for Kashiwazaki BLOOD as they quickly regrouped.
Tanaka executed a desperate tag to Nakamura, who unleashed a flurry of offense, including a stunning dropkick that sent Baloo to the canvas. As chaos ensued, the referee struggled to maintain order. In a pivotal moment, Nakamura delivered a lightning-fast Saito Suplex, catching Baloo off-guard and securing the victory for Kashiwazaki BLOOD.
[4] British Heavyweight Champion Gavin Owens (220, North London, England) beat Commonwealth Heavyweight Champion Half-Nelson McGrath (260, Wonglepong, Queensland, Australia) in a Non-Title Heavyweight Match (Rolling Arm Bar, 18:13)
They lock-up, and Gavin Owens easily powers McGrath to the ropes. McGrath goes for a single-leg takedown, but Owens counters with a quick Uchi Mata (inner thigh throw). More holds are exchanged until Owens powers up and gets in McGrath’s face. They lock-up again, and Owens tries for aSeoi Nage (shoulder throw), but McGrath counters by going after Owens' fingers. Owens breaks free, and McGrath ducks a chop, but Owens quickly spins around and catches McGrath with an arm drag. McGrath scrambles to his feet, only to be met with a lightning-fast kickboxing combo, ending with a swift kick to the ribs.
Owens follows up by grabbing McGrath and grounding him with a judo sweep. McGrath struggles on the mat as Owens works him over with some grappling before they return to their feet. McGrath attempts to mount some offense, but Owens catches him off guard with a dropkick that sends McGrath reeling. Owens stays on him, catching McGrath with another quick arm drag into a grounded hold, but McGrath fights out and rolls to the ropes.
McGrath gets back in the ring and tries a suplex, but Owens blocks it and counters with a swinging neckbreaker. The crowd roars as Owens goes for a cover, but Half-Nelson McGrath kicks out at two. Owens stays on the offensive, delivering a well-placed Enzuigiri that drops McGrath to one knee. Sensing an opening, Owens charges, but McGrath ducks. Owens quickly pivots and hits a well-timed judo shoulder throw to bring McGrath down again.
McGrath gains momentum with a flurry of strikes, but Owens cuts him off with another sudden kickboxing attack of his own, this time mixing in a few heavy knee strikes. Owens gets McGrath in position for another throw but gets caught off guard as McGrath reverses with a quick spinebuster.
Owens tries to get back on the offensive after both men return to their feet, hitting McGrath with a running dropkick that sends him crashing into the turnbuckle. Owens follows up with a judo
toss from the top rope, and the crowd erupts as he hits another brutal Uchi Mata, sending McGrath crashing hard onto the mat.
As Owens goes for the pin, McGrath powers out, forcing Owens to change tactics. Owens hits another Enzuigiri, knocking McGrath dazed into the ropes. Owens moves in with a final Seoi Nage, sending McGrath across the ring. But as Owens closes in for the win, McGrath surprises him with a quick reversal and attempts a Half-Nelson Suplex only for Owens to counter with an over the shoulder Judo throw. As Half-Nelson McGrath gets to his feet Owens catches him with a Rolling Armbar and after a few seconds the referee calls for the bell.
Exclusive Interview with Metallica Panther II
Taped Following losing the Worlds Heavy-Middleweight Championship to Bulldog Spirit on 12 October’s ‘On The Mat’:
Metallica Panther II was backstage in the locker room. His head was down and he had a towel draped across his shoulder. As he drank from a sponsored sports drink he said he was devastated to lose the title and felt like he had let down his family, fans and country. He wished Bulldog Spirit the best with the Championship and then said he would be taking some time away from the ring before he decided what he was doing next.
In The Studio - Official ruling on the Commonwealth Heavyweight Title
Edward George Rose and Perry Hagger then discussed the Barry Bridges and George Thompson match. They had a statement from the Admiral-Lord Mountevans Committee which read that an independent investigation was underway into the finale of the contest, it would look into the process of replacing a referee mid-match due to injuries and until the outcome of the match it would not comment further. Hagger said he felt that the original referee should be the one to make the final call while Edward George Rose disagreed. They then took a live phone call from KING GEORGE VI WRESTLING CLUB Matchmaker Edwin Luntley who said that it was an excellent match and would like to see them fight again in the future. He said as far the Commonwealth Heavyweight Championship match on 19 October against Half-Nelson McGrath in Jamaica, he said the match was now a Triangular Match between Bridges, Thompson and McGrath!
