[1] Bert Eagle (169 lbs, Bolton, England) beat Tiger Kidd (185 lbs, Yamaguchi, Japan) in a Lightweight Match (Eagle’s Flight 450° Splash, 14:32, full match shown)
Tiger Kidd used his quickness to gain the initial advantage, immediately transitioning into a series of rapid-fire arm drags and hurricanranas that caught Bert Eagle off guard. Tiger's martial arts background shone through as he mixed in a flurry of low kicks to Eagle's legs, trying to weaken his base. However, Eagle responded quickly, using his agility to evade a charging Tiger and countering with a precise dropkick that sent Tiger stumbling backward.
Bert Eagle, always with an eye on the prize, began to build momentum. He stunned the crowd with a beautifully executed enzuigiri, followed by a dazzling springboard moonsault for a near-fall. Tiger Kidd, not one to be outdone, rolled out of the ring to regroup, but Eagle was relentless, launching himself through the ropes with a suicide dive that sent both men crashing into the barricades.
As the referee counted, both wrestlers slowly returned to the ring, but Tiger Kidd was quicker on the rebound. He trapped Eagle in a waistlock and delivered a rolling German suplex that showcased his incredible strength for his size. Tiger continued his assault with a vicious combination of kicks, including his signature rolling savate kick that nearly decapitated Eagle, after a pinfall attempt Eagle was able to kick out.
With both men exhausted, Tiger Kidd looked to finish the match. He set Eagle up the Brainbuster but Eagle, summoning his last reserves of strength, wriggled free and reversed into a stunning DDT. The Bolton native, with the crowd fully behind him, climbed the top rope once more. Bert Eagle connected with the Eagle’s Flight 450° Splash, landing perfectly on Tiger Kidd. The referee dropped to the mat for the count, and Bert Eagle secured the victory at 14:32.
[2] Arthur T. Turtle (215 lbs, Halifax, England) beat "The Journeyman" Jack O’Grady (210 lbs, Walnut, Iowa) in a Catchweight Contest (The Crumble Snap DDT, 8:00, full match shown)
The crowd loved Turtle’s comedy, while O’Grady showed visible frustration.
Early on, O'Grady's technical mastery was on display—hitting a hip toss, transitioning into a double wristlock, and nearly scoring a pin with an O’Connor Roll. But Turtle escaped with comical antics, even getting “stuck” between the ropes, much to the audience’s delight.
Around five minutes in, O’Grady, clearly irritated, landed a hard European Uppercut and signaled for his finisher, the O’Grady Toe Hold. Turtle, in his usual playful style, grabbed the referee to escape, drawing more laughs. Seizing an opening, Turtle hit his Biscuit Bash elbow strike and followed up with his crowd-favorite Mime Rope Walk crossbody.
As the match reached its climax, Turtle used a sleight-of-hand trick to distract O’Grady, setting him up for The Crumble(Snap DDT) and securing the win.
Championship Announcement
In a pre-recorded video filmed at the Admiral-Lord Mountevans Committee Offices in Westminster, Chairman Solomon Spimpson KC addresses the camera. He tells us that the winner of tonight’s Heavyweight contest between former Commonwealth Heavyweight Champion Barry Bridges and Thompson will face Half-Nelson McGrath in Jamaica on 19 October with the Championship and Belt on the line. He finishes by wishing both men goodluck in what he hopes to be a good, clean, wrestling contest.

Empristikí took advantage and locked Kaplan in a single-leg crab, screeching as they applied pressure. Kaplan barely reached the ropes for a break. With both teams exhausted, Empristikí and Kaplan collided mid-ring after a crossbody attempt, leaving them both down.
In the final minutes, Connors returned and tangled with Walker, exchanging stiff forearms. Connors hit a double stomp, but Walker kicked out at two. Just as it seemed Connors was about to lock in a submission, Walker countered into her Dismantle armbar, but Connors wriggled free. Connors went for her QDF Abdominal Stretch Driver, but Walker powered out, lifting Connors into the air and hitting the BluePrint Cradle Piledriver. Thompson hit an impressive arm drag, sending Bridges to the canvas to open the match. As Thompson prepared for a boot to the stomach, Bridges instinctively bailed to the outside, regrouping before the next exchange. Thompson, sensing the moment, rolled out of the ring and crashed into Bridges with a big clothesline.

As the momentum shifted, Bridges employed a chinlock, methodically wearing down Thompson. Referee Devonte Hutchinson followed the two men out of the ring and pleaded with them to get back to the ring. Dougie Wright on commentary claimed he thought the match may be judged a No Contest. As Bridges rolled Thompson into the ring, Thompon’s trailing leg caught Hutchinson in the face knocking him down.
In the ring, Thompson struck back with shoulder tackles and a neckbreaker, then launched himself back into the ring with a clothesline, regaining momentum. The two wrestlers exchanged blows, and Thompson hit a forearm that sent Bridges staggering. While Mr. Hutchinson was receiving medical treatment another referee Mr. Robert ‘Bob’ Hackett entered as the official.

Bridges then sent Thompson into the turnbuckle and, with a burst of adrenaline, executed a big back bodydrop. Bridges pulled Thompson up for another German Suplex but Thompson reversed and hit Bridges with a German Suplex.
Mr. Hutchinson re-entered the ring and joined Mr. Hackett in counting the three count.
George Thompson feeling he had emerged victorious raised his hands as Mr. Hackett congratulated him only for Mr Hutchinson to raise the hand of Bridges.
