Welcome, The Rules and Recap
Harold William-Walker spoke to us at ringside. Tonight we will see the final two matches in the Great Britain v The World Trophy. was in the ring with an impressive trophy. The trophy would be contested over five matches, three singles matches, one tag team and a Battle Royale. Winning a Singles match would be worth three points, 1 for a draw and none for a loss. Winning a tag match would be worth five points, 1 for a draw and none for a loss. Winning the Battle Royale would be worth six points, with 1 point for the runner up. After last week’s matches the score was Great Britain 3 and The World 3.
[1] The Suspects - Montague Chapman (209, Cambridge, England) & George Druitt (201, London, England) beat The Mexican Marauders - El Girasol (187, Mexico City, Mexic) & Rosa Roja (178, Moncolva, Mexico) Tag Team Great Britain vs. The World One Fall, Subs. Or K.O. Match (Sleeper Hold, 22:32, full match shown)
El Girasol blindsided Montague Chapman with a stiff forearm to the face, sending him tumbling off the apron. George Druitt, starting as the legal man, rushed at El Girasol but got caught in a rapid exchange of strikes. Rosa Roja, tagged in quickly, chopped Druitt down to size with rapid kicks to the legs. Druitt reversed an Irish whip and dropped Roja with a quick shoulder tackle. However, as Druitt attempted to build momentum, Roja countered with a beautifully executed enzuigiri, sending Druitt reeling into the corner.
The Mexican Marauders worked together seamlessly, isolating Druitt. El Girasol tagged back in and hit a flying crossbody from the top rope, nearly securing the first fall. Chapman, still recovering from the earlier cheap shot, returned to the apron just in time for Druitt to escape a corner beatdown and tag him in.
Chapman entered the ring like a house on fire, dropping both El Girasol and Rosa Roja with a series of clotheslines. As El Girasol staggered to his feet, Chapman locked him in a full nelson, leaving the high flyer vulnerable. Druitt, now legal again, climbed the ropes and landed a precision missile dropkick. The teamwork was perfect, and the first fall was secured when Chapman hit the Cambridge Clutch (stalling vertical suplex), pinning El Girasol for the three-count.
Frustrated by losing the first fall, Rosa Roja and El Girasol turned up the aggression in the second. Rosa Roja, now legal, wasted no time and immediately targeted Chapman, softening him up with stiff kicks and a brutal DDT. Chapman attempted a comeback, but Roja tagged in El Girasol, who hit a stunning springboard dropkick. Druitt tried to intervene, but Roja cut him off with a basement dropkick, sending Druitt crashing out of the ring.
With Chapman isolated, The Marauders hit a double-team move: Roja lifted Chapman into a backbreaker position while Girasol springboarded off the ropes to deliver a devastating leg drop. The Marauders’ synergy shined here, and El Girasol capped it off with a picture-perfect Splash. Chapman had no chance, and Girasol got the three-count, leveling the match at one fall apiece.
With both teams exhausted, the final fall saw a ferocious back-and-forth battle. George Druitt and Rosa Roja traded hard strikes, with neither man willing to give an inch. Druitt finally managed to gain the upper hand, hitting a spinning backbreaker that left Roja writhing on the mat. Druitt tagged in Chapman, who immediately went after El Girasol, who had been knocked to the outside.
As El Girasol tried to recover, Chapman whipped him into the steel barricade, showing no mercy. Meanwhile, Druitt lifted Roja into a fireman’s carry and executed a death valley driver, but Roja kicked out at two. Just when it seemed like The Suspects would seal the victory, Rosa Roja fought back with a surprise small package roll-up on Druitt, nearly catching him off-guard.
The match reached a fever pitch when all four men ended up in the ring, trading strikes. Chapman managed to hit a snap suplex on Roja, while Druitt, now back to his feet, nailed El Girasol with a superkick that sent him crashing into the ropes. Druitt, seizing the moment, tagged Chapman for the final blow who locked in a Sleeper and Roja passed out.

As the match began, chaos erupted with all ten competitors immediately locking horns, at times ignoring any alliances and fighting their own teammates. Ali Tabriz's size advantage quickly came into play, while smaller wrestlers like Stan Hateley and Gyula Czibor tried to use their agility to avoid the larger threats. The lucha-inspired Rosa Roja and El Girasol, meanwhile, dazzled with their speed and high-flying moves.
Gyula Czibor’s speed couldn't save him from Ali Tabriz’s raw power. The Iranian giant delivered a series of punishing strikes before throwing Czibor over the top rope with a thunderous clothesline, marking the first elimination of the match.
Stan Hateley tried his best to survive, using quick strikes against Montague Chapman and George Druitt. However, the English pair worked together, double-teaming the Derby native. A powerful back-body drop from both Druitt and Chapman sent Hateley crashing to the outside.
Terry Raptor, the high-flying Canadian, squared off against Neil McBridge. As Raptor attempted to eliminate McBridge with a running clothesline, the Scotsman cleverly pulled the top rope down, causing Raptor’s momentum to carry him over and out, marking a crafty elimination by McBridge.
Rosa Roja was next to meet her fate. After an impressive showing of lucha libre tactics, she became the victim of her fellow Mexican, El Girasol. In a moment of betrayal, Girasol caught Roja by surprise, tossing her over the top rope, much to the shock of the audience.
El Girasol’s victory over Roja was short-lived. As he celebrated her elimination, Harry Noon seized the moment. A powerful dropkick sent Girasol crashing over the top rope, ending his night and leaving Noon grinning in satisfaction.
George Druitt found himself in trouble as Neil McBridge and Ali Tabriz began to dominate the ring. Druitt got caught in a corner by Tabriz, who, after exchanging heavy blows, finished Druitt off with a powerful clothesline, sending him over the ropes and out of the match.
Ali Tabriz, having just eliminated Druitt, quickly set his sights on Harry Noon. After a fierce back-and-forth exchange, Chapman got involved. With Noon momentarily stunned, Chapman hoisted him onto his shoulders and dumped him over the top rope.
With only four men left in the ring, Montague Chapman tried to take on Ali Tabriz. The two behemoths clashed in the middle of the ring, exchanging vicious strikes. Ultimately, Tabriz’s brute strength won out. With a massive spinebuster, Chapman was left vulnerable, and Tabriz hurled him over the top rope in a show of dominance.
The match came down to the final two: Neil McBridge, the cunning Scotsman, and Ali Tabriz, the Iranian powerhouse. McBridge used his agility and wit to try and avoid Tabriz’s heavy strikes. After a series of close encounters near the ropes, McBridge managed to stun Tabriz with a well-placed dropkick. Sensing victory, McBridge charged at Tabriz, but the Iranian giant was ready. Tabriz caught McBridge mid-run, lifted him high, and launched him over the top rope, securing his victory.
Post Match
Ali Tabriz stood tall as the last man standing, shouting in his Middle Eastern accent for the trophy. But it was the MC Sylvester Rice who had to confirm that while Tabriz had won the Battle Royale and five points for The World, as McBridge was runner-up he gained 1 point and the final scores were Great Britain - 9 and The World - 8.
Tabriz was furious and refused to leave the ring for sometime, until the Great Britain team, lead by Harry Noon charged the ring. They then celebrated with the trophy to finish the show.
