Get ready to headlock your TV remote and pin yourself to the couch because the high-flying action of the nation’s top grapplers is making a triumphant return Saint-Caste Studios has just announced that “On The Mat” will be re-entering the ring after reaching a suplex of an agreement with the KING GEORGE VI WRESTLING CLUB for a weekly TV showdown, set to be broadcast in colour.
KING GEORGE VI WRESTLING CLUB has recently been given the green light to slam their way back into the wrestling scene after a three-year timeout, and they’re coming back with a roster of international and domestic stars ready to body slam their way into your living room.
Dougie Wright has already been approached about calling the action at ringside. Wright, who currently hosts Gardenings Nightmares on Radio 8 Long Wave, has been absent from our screens since the demise of wrestling, but grapple fans will no doubt be keen to see him back behind the microphone.
