WHAT IS RINGSPORT MAGAZINE?
The official publication of KING GEORGE VI WRESTLING CLUB is the historic RINGSPORT MAGAZINE. It is available to buy at shows up and down the country as well as via mail order subscription. It is a mostly black and white, apart from the cover. It features in character news, interviews, updates and gossip from the world of professional wrestling and is not just restricted to the goings on in Great Britain.
The magazine is published sporadicly, usually fortnightly and forms as an accessible way to 'role-play' and move your character and story forward.
HOW DO I CONTRIBUTE
When a card is posted, options will be given to submit a traditional 'Roleplay' on the 'Flash' board or to send in an article to the next edition of RINGSPORT MAGAZINE. You can then email here or message me on the forum.
Please note that due to publishing schedule, often issues of RINGSPORT MAGAZINE will cover multiple shows.
RINGSPORT MAGAZINE is always looking to cover international wrestling news, if you are not associated with KING GEORGE VI WRESTLING CLUB but would like to contribute to the magazine, please get in touch.
STYLE & FORMATTING NOTES
The easiest way to learn how the publication is put together is to read previous issues on this forum. Needless to say it is important that all articles are written in character and that it is written as a news article and not a traditional role-play. The length doesn't need to be super long, and the more compact the better. Again, check out previous issues to better understand the look and feel.
DEADLINES
The deadlines for contributors to get their work in for RINGSPORT MAGAZINE will be posted in the show line-ups. Please do not hold up publication, if you cannot make the deadline, just reach out.
